Odyssey of Peter Loboda



Student of m/v "Anton Makarenko". 1969


Peter Loboda is qualified and skilled naval officer. In 1969 he has gratuated the Odessa Marine College (OMC ííF). Then he graduated the Odessa Marine Academy (ïHEíS, 1975) and the Odessa Marine University (ïEIíF, 1988).

Since 1967 more than twenty five years he worked on the sea-going ships of the Black Sea Shipping Company - the largest navigable company in the World in that time. He began as the student and has finished his marine service as the first mate.

During his odyssey Peter Loboda has visited more than 150 ports and 60 countries of the World. He has finished his marine service in 1992 but often make cruises on the ocean liners. On the sessions of "Club of Discovevers" Peter Loboda tells young romanticists about the exotic countries and interesting meetings that he has during his voyages, shows them the souvenirs brought from exotic countries: coins, stamps, post cards.
