Besides the basic exposition activity the Odessa Numismatic Museum annually develops and carries out the popular television and publicistic projects devoted to history of Ukraine and Odessa.

TV serial "Gallery" Old Odessa" devoted to old architecture of city was created in 1999-2000.

In 2000-2001, 38th channel of the Odessa TV demonstrated other serial - " World of collections ". It was devoted to the most interesting and visited exhibitions which have been carried out in the Odessa Numismatic Museum.

The large popularity of children and schoolboys used TV project "Club of Discoverers" created in 2002 by the Museum's employees together with the collective of Odessa TV studio "Lad".

The project "About what the coin has told" appeared in 2003 was realized in two variants - TV serial and issues of the publicistic bulletin "Almanac". This project devoted to Ukrainian history from ancient times up to the present period. This history is demonstrated by means of coins - major cultural and historical monuments.

In 2003-2004 has been created TV serial "Gallery of portraits on coins of the Northern Black Sea Region" and in 2004-2005 other serial - "Projection of time".
